Sketch Reveal Today!

Hello my creative friends...I hope September has been kind to you!

I've got another fun sketch this week from Let's Scrap Sketches :)

I wanted to play with some left over bits from my Cherry Lane Page Club kit. I've already finished a couple layouts with these papers but I'm working towards using it all up...one kit at a time! Baby steps, right?!!!

Lots of possibilities here...and lots of photos...

Pretty fun paper from Carta Bella called Beach Day and some photos from my recent trip to Australia with my son and the Travel Club at his High School.

The polaroids were perforated on a 12x12 sheet from Jillibean Soup...perfect size.

I love, love, love the 3x4 and 4x6 cut apart journal sheets...a MUST have when picking up papers for this girlie! 'Good Times and Tan Lines' was a 3x4 card I cut down to fit.

I can use up all the left over bits with some of my pocket pages and get all the photos I want for this event, in the books!

Head on over to the Let's Scrap blog to see what the other DT lovelies have created this week.

Thanks for stopping by

September 1st sketch from Let's Scrap!

Good day my creative friends!

As promised, a new sketch from a new Design Team at Let's Scrap...some returning and some new, but all of us love the sketches and are super happy to be able to play with them and hopefully inspire you to play along with us too!

Here's the sketch...and when you click the link at the end of the post to the Let's Scrap Blog...you'll see what the rest of the Design Team put together with the same sketch!

You'll notice that we all have our own unique style and take on the same sketch...which is what makes scrapbooking those memories such a fun and creative process...we look forward to you playing along and uploading your finished layout to our Let's Scrap Blog...you could even win some scrappy goodies :)

I've started digging into all the wonderful Close To My Heart products from our newest Annual Inspirations Catalog...the paper lines I've used are from the Basics Fundamentals Creative Collections and I'm in love!

*remember you can click on the images to get a closer look*

What do you think of this new mint green? It's CTMH's newest 'colour of the year' called Sea Glass...an exclusive colour for just this next year until the release of our new annual catalog August 2017...I am loving it!

This is our new Happy Thoughts embossing folder in the Sea Glass card stock...lightly sanded because our CS has a white core which is fantastic! It was a perfect fit for the theme in this layout ;)

You'll notice several things in this photo, the glitter chipboard, sticker, letters and word are ALL from our You & Me Complements pack. We also now have some thin cut dies...the one I used here is a set of three hearts...love the thin outline and also the fact that I can use the insides of the heart for future embellishing!

Oh! I almost forgot the vellum with the gold polka dots! It's in a new Uptown Fundamental paper pack...I really love getting a transparent accent into my layouts and vellum is a great way to add some contrast or texture without changing the look too much.

I hope you enjoyed this peek today at the new Let's Scrap sketch...head on over to the Blog to see what the rest of the Design Team created this week and Happy Scrapping!
