My precious little baby Lucy...

Is one month old here...she has gained lots and is a whoppin' 1 pound and 3.5ozs. We thought we'd get a better idea of her size later on by sitting her inside my coffee mug, which reads..."It's not easy looking this beautiful, this early in the morning!" She is very sweet and starting to really show her personality with her playful nature and curious spirit.

New layouts

Here's a 2 page layout I completed using the Emporium paper with CTMH. I also thought that this Bella paper was the perfect fit for these old photos of Marissa...I hope to take a better picture of both these layouts tomorrow. Thanks for looking

Grade 3 Ballet

Well I'm so proud of Marissa and her success with her Grade 3 Ballet Exam! She was awarded 'Merit' which apparently is quite good! Shows you what I know...anyway, I have spent the better part of this afternoon trying to figure out a new scanner/printer/fax for our home office that is WiFi and therefore took a little concentration. Luckily I have it up and running and my husband can get his stuff printed out upstairs now as opposed to coming into my workshop to use my printer! All is well...now I'm off to scan Marissa's certificate from the Queen of England herself...well not exactly, but from the Royal Academy of Dance in England anyways :) I will get a page done on this milestone right away!

Year-End Dance Show

Getting ready for Competitions and Year-End Productions are always alot of work. You have got to remind your child to check and double check her costumes...are all the bits and pieces there? Are you sure? Check again! I can't wait to see the final show this year as the girls have been working on their 'Four Seasons' to Vivaldi and it looks like it's going to be fantastic, young ladies on soft and pointe, so beautiful! We are so proud of how much Marissa has accomplished in her year at her new studio, trying new techniques and styles...love to see her grow.
Break a leg!

CTMH June Club Night

Well , last night was the last night with Esther Vuong as our Close to my Heart Consultant as she and her family are moving to Armstrong! We completed this layout and I added these photos of my dog Chloe's new additions. Come next September I will hopefully have a couple full Clubs of my own as I am just getting things organized myself as a new CTMH Independant Consultant. Thanks for looking.

Hot Hot Hot

OK...now really! 32 degrees at 6pm is a little more than we are used to around here. I'm not entirely complaining but WOW...It was cooling down enough to enjoy my son's baseball game and take some pictures of course, even if it was rather dusty out there...the boys certainly don't let the heat or dust bother them.
Looks like their winning streak will get them one of the top spots in the playoffs...then it all starts again for Summer Ball! We can take a break in August for a couple weeks before Hockey tryouts begin! Yikes :) What ever would we do if we weren't so busy with our kids...

The Great Outdoors

Well this was the second day outside to the great green world! The puppies were quite hesitant and Mamma was a little nervous with them outside. We kept a close eye on them and were never more than a hands reach from them...don't want them to get scooped up with all the eagles and hawks hovering around our neighbourhood!

Marissa's Confirmation

What a beautiful day Saturday was for Marissa's Confirmation and following party. All our family and most of our friends were able to attend and Marissa had a wonderful day! Special thanks to Tania and Rob for cooking the dinner. I am forever grateful for all the wonderful friends we have and was so glad to have been able to share this day with them.
