Holiday Joy

Hello my crafty friends!

It's the 15th of the month and that means we have another sketch posted at Let's Scrap Sketches...

This month I've designed some layouts for the Cherry Lane Scrapbook Shoppe's Page Club...we have used Photo Play's Holiday Cheer paper collection this month and it has a very subtle old fashioned feel to me :)

Apologies for the bad photo quality...I was losing daylight by the time I finished...

This was a trip to Leavenworth, WA back in 2004!

I have to admit it to y'all, scrapbooking older photos is hard...usually because the composition isn't where you'd have it now that you scrapbook and most importantly for me...it tends to make me sad of the days past...

Your kids literally grow up in a blink of the eye!

Kuranda Rainforest

November! Oh my!!! 

Is it just me or is this year speeding by...I'm not sure how I feel about that ;)

With the first day of the month comes a brand new sketch with Lets Scrap Sketches...

...so that much we love!

I saw some new Graphic 45 papers at the Shoppe and had to play with it using some photos of our trip to Australia and the Kuranda Wildlife Centre...awesome day and great photos of us feeding the birds!

Graphoc 45 papers are usually pretty 'busy' for me...loads of pattern and sometimes challenging to use lots of it together...I loved this sketch for adding bits of pattern to get a taste for it.

Cork alphabet...all time favourite...not sure how it'll survive the years in an album...but I don't really care, so there! LOL

Burlap and twine...all time favourite for ribbon...you can probably tell that much about my style :)
