a bowl of Cherry-O...

I decided to try this WOTG just as it appears in the guide...well almost, just a couple changes...it's starring my niece, Jada, on her 3rd Birthday so I decided to use the May Stamp of the Month: Cherish the Moment in addition to the exclusive My Acrylix set that comes with this G1008 Cherry-O Workshop kit

I also added these adorable Z1319 Opaques Cherry-O Pearl Stickers because they go great with this paper, and because I just really liked them! 

Just starting on additional layouts with this collection, but thought I'd give you all a look at the main layout so you can start thinking about which photos you're going to use. The left page features a 5X7 and one 4X6 cropped to 4X5...the right has two more 4X6 photos cropped to 4X5 as well. You'll be using one of my newest punches to add that fantastic border on top.

Splendor Bonus Layout

Here's a look at the bonus layout I did with this month's Splendor WOTG Club. I made a dimensional flower with CTMH's new   1 -1/4 punch, instructions to make this flower can be found on page 13 of the Summer 2010 Idea Book, or in the online catalog which can be found on my CTMH website . 











I used the 'Over the Rainbow' My Acrylix stamp set (D1426) to fashion the rainbow, added a little embroidery floss between the colours, stitched the dragon fly's trail and a couple extra stitches here and there...dug into my stash of Dimensional Elements Borders (Z1156) and thoroughly enjoyed adding some more of those fabulous Splendor Designer Brads (Z1317)...thanks for looking ;)

May's Splendor Workshop Club

Hello ! I am running around like mad...trying to do a little of this and a little of that in between this and that...phew! Dance Competitions are almost over! Yippee, tomorrow is my last day with Marissa, she has four tomorrow, but it's the last day...Matthew's baseball tournament this past weekend couldn't have had better weather either. All in all, life is good. Hopefully all of you had a fantastic Mother's Day...I spent mine doing what I do best...being a Mother!

I am knee deep in the new Splendor paper collection from CTMH and I am loving it! If only I could ignore this cold I am getting...it's throwing my head into a bit of a tails spin...I thought in the meantime I'd show you some of this paper in action...until I post some of this month's layouts of my own...
