This is a 6x8 technique page I created for an Everyday Life album filled with different techniques to show my customers!
I wanted to play with our embossing pens to show how fun they can be to add some pop to your papers! I've chosen to create some subtle details on my page but you could go even bolder if you used coloured embossing powder...
You can create images or follow the embossing pen along a pattern on the paper. Add clear or coloured embossing powder to the area you used the pen on and add the heat gun to 'melt' the embossing powder! If you haven't played with embossing powder yet it's time to start!
It was fun to play with the Seas The Day Cardmaking stamp and thin cuts too!
You can see above that I created a highlight on the two clouds.
Here I've added wave lines along the bottom.
It's harder to see above, but the striped patterned paper (thin yellow stripe) has some thin lines that have been embossed too!
You can obviously create some very interesting looks and showcased images along patterned paper, on cardstock or on top of stamped images too! You're only limited to your imagination!
Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way.
