Wanna Scrap?!!

I've been away from Let's Scrap as a Design Team member for several months now and I have to say I miss it! I do stay updated with the goings on via Facebook but it's just not the same as being a part of a Design Team and having a constant presence online in the gallery and chat groups...I miss them...might need to consider re-applying for their DT Call this month...???

Anyways, this past Wednesday they released a fun sketch that I wanted to share with you all...one of those sketches that uses up all your left over bits and of course if you are like me and have been collecting some Washi tape...great for that too!

I pulled out some of my Christmas scraps from last year...I've been plugging away at our 2012 Christmas trip to Waikiki, Oahu...I am using some Project Life sleeves in amongst my layouts just so that I can get it done! I wanted to use this photo as I figured it might get lost with lots of photos...I wanted to feature it with its own layout ;)

Can you imagine seeing a GIANT sandcastle in the middle of our hotel lobby? Now make it one of Santa and his elves and I have to make sure I take a photo!

I got these glitter alphas from a mini-album class last year...all the left over bits were from that class too...the more I use these alphas, the more I like them!

These papers are from American Crafts and this tag was cut from a 12x12 sheet...I used my decorative corner chomper to get these ticket corners, doodled in black around it to make it look like it was made this way...tricky I know:) It was great to find something that gave me those choices to check off...usually Christmas paper bits are all about cold and snow...neither of which we had!

There's a great prize package up for grabs too this week at Let's Scrap from Fancy Pants so be sure to head on over and enter your layout into the gallery for a chance to win!
